Lo spirito può essere disposto, ma la carne e la voce a volte restano senza parole. Eppure, lo spirito desidera spezzare il silenzio e parlare dal luogo più profondo e vivo dentro di noi.
Quali parole esprimono il tuo stato d’animo attuale? Come si muove la voce all’interno delle forme del corpo? E come respirano quelle forme fisiche? In questo laboratorio creeremo un palcoscenico per permettere allo spirito interiore di manifestarsi.
Teatrale. Articolato.
Un linguaggio incarnato che espande il nostro potenziale creativo e apre le porte alle voci interiori, esprimendo tutto ciò che i nostri corpi hanno da offrire.
Live Wire è un’indagine teatrale rituale incarnata, radicata nelle mappe di movimento dei 5Ritmi®, dedicata alla natura cangiante dell’arte fisica e guidata dalla visione di Lorca Simons, Gabrielle Roth e dall’artista Martha Peabody. Un’esperienza creata per ispirare, rinnovare, riequilibrare e connettere.
In questo seminario ci sarà movimento, esplorazioni creative, verità collettive e creazione di bellezza.
Tutti sono i benvenuti. Non è necessaria alcuna esperienza di danza o dei 5Ritmi.
Lorca Simons è una facilitatrice certificata dei 5Ritmi, dedicata alla creazione di un teatro fisico interattivo e trasformativo.
Seguendo il suo istinto, ha incontrato la vibrazione unica della regia di Gabrielle Roth, dando vita a una collaborazione creativa durata 19 anni. Ha studiato e si è formata con Gabrielle dalla metà degli anni ’90, diventando co-fondatrice e co-direttrice di 5RT, il ramo sperimentale del teatro dei 5Ritmi. Con i suoi ampi passi texani, ha collaborato alla realizzazione di numerose produzioni originali e workshop internazionali.
In risposta alla ricerca di Gabrielle Roth su cosa significhi essere un essere umano autentico, Lorca ha creato Live Wire 5Rhythms Theatre, un laboratorio dedicato alla creazione di un teatro fisico sia interattivo che trasformativo.
I 5Ritmi sono una forma d’arte. I laboratori Live Wire si basano su una tecnica visionaria e rigorosa che permette alle persone di diventare veri “atleti del cuore”, esplorando e approfondendo le profondità dello spirito umano.
Lorca è impegnata a diffondere i semi di questo processo trasformativo.

BREATH IN MOTION

The spirit may be willing, but the flesh and voice are sometimes tongue-tied. Yet the spirit longs to break the silence and speak from the deepest Live Wire place within us.
What words express your current state of being? How does the voice move within the shapes of the body? How do those physical shapes breathe?
In this lab, we will create a stage for the spirit within to manifest.

An embodied language that expands our creative potential and opens the door to the voices within, articulating all our bodies have to offer.
Live Wire is an embodied ritual theatre investigation, rooted in the movement maps of 5Rhythms®, devoted to the shapeshifting nature of physical art, and guided by the vision of Lorca Simons, Gabrielle Roth, and artist Martha Peabody. Designed to inspire, refresh, re-set, and connect.
Our time together will include movement, creative excavations, collective truth-telling, and beauty-making.
All are welcome to join. No prior dance or 5Rhythms experience is necessary.
Lorca Simons is a certified 5Rhythms facilitator dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative.
Following her instincts, she was drawn to the unique directing vibration of Gabrielle Roth, and a 19-year creative collaboration blossomed. She studied and trained with Gabrielle from the mid-’90s and became a co-founder and co-director of 5RT, the experimental theatre wing of the 5Rhythms world. Stepping into this realm with her expansive Texan feet, she collaborated on numerous original productions and international workshops.
In response to Gabrielle Roth’s deep inquiry into what it means to be an authentic human being, Lorca created Live Wire 5Rhythms Theatre, a laboratory dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative.
The 5Rhythms are an art form. Live Wire labs – including Breath in Motion, Roots, Electric Landscapes, Silhouette, Wing Span, Soul Threading, On The Verge, and Soul Revival – are rooted in a visionary and rigorous technique that invites people to become true “athletes of the heart”, exploring and investigating the depths of the human spirit.
Lorca is committed to scattering the seeds of this transformative process.
